George VI Monument

You can find this cylindrical monument in the centre of the town of Lefke.
It takes the form of a water storage tank, and was built to commemorate the coronation of George VI, King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth.
Erected during the British Empire dating 1937, carvings on the monument illustrate the coronation of the king.
