Archangelos Michael Church
Kyrenia
The 19th-century Greek Church, with its white bell tower rising above the surrounding Kyrenia harbourside buildings.
Nowadays used as a museum displaying icons dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, its collection is made up of icons collected from Orthodox churches throughout North Cyprus.
Notable depictions include Saint George and the Dragon, the beheading of John the Baptist, and the Virgin and Child.
