Opened in 2018, this museum exhibits works from eight historical periods, from Neolithic through to the Roman era.
The cultural heritage of many civilisations has been carried through to this new gallery displaying over ten thousand years of priceless history.
The artefacts on show here have been collected, preserved and brought together from various local excavations.
Modern as it is, this museum has been planned to serve all ages, with relics and delicate pieces alike parading visitors throughout the tour.
From delicate items including jewellery and works of fine pottery to large sculptures and antiques, the Iskele Archaeology Museum is a worthy visit when in town.
